Why do linked Centauri units show different readings for Tx or Rx power?

Modified on Thu, 23 Sep, 2021 at 8:19 PM

Transmit power (Tx) is regulated by Centauri's intelligent, Automatic Power Control (APC) feature. APC helps increase or decrease Tx power as needed to maintain signal quality.

Receive power (Rx) fluctuates in response to environmental factors such as scintillation and vibrations, which influence the strength of the optical signal between the two linked devices.
