It is a specialized hardware diagnostic device used before installing TRANSCELESTIAL's CENTAURI wireless laser communication terminals on poles, towers, or buildings.
Purpose and Function of the SST
- Vibration Qualification: The tool is bolted onto a proposed mounting structure (like a cell tower or street pole) to measure and record structural sway and environmental vibrations.
- Data Logging: It tracks data over a set period, saving the telemetry logs onto an internal mini SD card.
- Feasibility Reporting: Technicians upload the zip-archived log files to the Transcelestial Support Portal. Transcelestial's team analyzes the data and issues an SST Report within 48 hours to confirm if the pole meets stability standards before the actual hardware is deployed.
