Pointing and Tracking

• Self-Healing logging : Improved error logging for the receive power. If it encounters too many sequential errors, the system will now automatically restart the service to prevent downtime.

• Smoother Network Performance: Enhanced the overall stability of the internal switch to ensure steady, reliable data flow for CENTAURI+.

APIs

• Database Resilience: Fixed a bug where a corrupted database file could stall the API. The system now handles these edge cases gracefully without disrupting your workflow.

• Perfect Time Sync: CENTAURI main compute and switch times are now precisely synchronized for more accurate event logging and coordination.

• Short-Link Power Boost: Increased the power target to -5dBm for short links, ensuring more stable output.

• Better Heat Tolerance: Raised the high-temperature threshold for CENTAURI+, allowing it to operate safely and effectively in warmer environments.

User Interface (DMD)

• Window Heater Power Control: You can now manually adjust the window heater power settings to better manage environmental conditions.

• Built-in Connectivity Checks: Added basic ping testing tools to help you quickly diagnose network connectivity directly from the interface.

Compute

• Advanced Telemetry: The system now measures gyro and encoder currents, giving you deeper insights into hardware performance and diagnostics.

• Cleaner Alert System: Removed duplicate condition checks so Automatic Power Reduction (APR) safety error messages only trigger when genuinely necessary.

Pointing and Tracking

• Smoother Alignment Transitions: Added a brief stability delay between the loss of line-of-sight obstruction detection and signal demodulation to prevent link drops.

• Beacon Messaging Stability: Fixed a null pointer error in the optical beacon transmitter to ensure reliable background communication.

• Smart Safety Alerts: Automatic Power Reduction (APR) status alerts are now strictly conditional and will only show when the APR safety feature is actively enabled.

User Interface (DMD)

• Heater Control Fix: Resolved a bug that incorrectly kept the window heater toggle button disabled, restoring manual thermal control.
