After Installation and Basic Alignment, What Needs To Happen Before My Link Can "Go Live"?

Modified on Fri, 23 Sep, 2022 at 1:40 PM

Basic installation of Centauri 1/10G can be performed by a Transcelestial installation partner or your own field service team.

Transcelestial intends for the deployment of Centauri to take less than 2 hours per device, and less than 1/2 of a day for a full link, including alignment.

In some cases Transcelestial's team will be directly involved in helping customers with deployments, to ensure success.

Once basic installation and alignment is performed, a fine-tuning exercise must be completed to optimise the link and go live.

The ability to run fine-tuning to calibrate CENTAURI links is enabled within the Device Deployment and Management (DMD) app, starting with version 4.1+.

Versions of CENTAURI software prior to 4.1 do not have this feature enabled, and in order to complete calibration for devices with older software, you must Contact Support.

To get more information about software releases, check out our Software Release Notes.

We strongly recommend upgrading your CENTAURI device software to the latest version to take advantage of the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes.
